About

About This Course

The AZ-305 is the expert-level Azure architecture certification. This course teaches you to design complete Azure solutions — not just deploy individual services, but architect how they fit together. You will make design decisions about compute platforms, data storage patterns, networking topologies, identity architecture, and business continuity strategies.

Every module presents architecture scenarios where you evaluate tradeoffs. Should you use Azure SQL or Cosmos DB? When does App Service make more sense than AKS? How do you design a hub-and-spoke network that supports multiple workloads with different security requirements? These are the questions the AZ-305 tests, and this course prepares you to answer them with confidence.

If you hold the AZ-104 and want to move into architecture roles, this is the path. The AZ-305 requires broad Azure knowledge and the ability to make defensible design decisions. This course gives you both the technical depth and the architectural thinking to pass the exam and design solutions in production.

Outcomes

What You'll Learn

01

Design identity, governance, and monitoring solutions for enterprise Azure environments

02

Architect data storage solutions across SQL, Cosmos DB, and data lake patterns

03

Design application architectures using App Services, Functions, and container platforms

04

Plan infrastructure solutions for networking, compute, and business continuity

Before You Start

Prerequisites

  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing Azure resources
  • AZ-104 knowledge or certification is strongly recommended
Audience

Who Is This Course For

This course targets experienced Azure professionals pursuing the AZ-305 expert certification. You should have hands-on experience deploying and managing Azure resources — ideally with the AZ-104 already completed. If you are a cloud architect, senior engineer, or consultant who designs Azure solutions for organizations, this course validates your ability to make architecture decisions that hold up in production.
